What Happens at Your First Visit

From the free 15 minute call through your lab strategy, here is exactly how becoming an EvoHealth patient works.

"What Happens at Your First Visit" — EvoHealth

It starts with a free 15 minute call

The discovery call exists to answer one question: is this the right kind of care for what you are dealing with. You describe what is going on and what you have already tried. Dr. Tanner Wilson, DC, IFMCP tells you whether this approach fits, and says so plainly when it does not. There is no cost and no obligation attached to it.

Before the first real visit

Once you decide to move forward, intake forms come to you by email. They are longer than what you are used to, and that is on purpose. Symptom history, timelines, past treatments, sleep, stress, and diet all get captured before the visit so the appointment itself is spent on your case instead of on paperwork.

Gather any lab work from the last few years and send it along. Bring a full list of medications and supplements, including doses. If you wear a fitness tracker or a glucose monitor, that data is useful too.

The initial assessment

This visit runs long, in person at the Overland Park clinic or by video anywhere in Kansas or Missouri. It covers your full history rather than a single complaint, because the pattern across systems is usually where the answer is. You leave with a working theory of what is happening and a lab strategy built for your case, not a standard panel ordered for everyone.

Then testing, then a plan

Some kits ship to your home. Others are drawn at a lab near you. Once results are in, you sit down and go through them together, line by line, so you understand what each marker means before anything gets prescribed. The plan that follows is short and specific: the food changes that matter for your results, a focused supplement list, and prescription therapy when your labs support it.

After that, testing repeats on a schedule so the plan can change with your numbers. Care here is a working relationship rather than a single appointment, and most patients start to see movement in the first few months.
